Be Drin: working group per la certificazione EUAV in Kosovo

Dopo il primo work shop, svoltosi in Albania dall’8 al 9 aprile,(cfr. news pubblicata il 6 aprile u.s.), la seconda riunione con i partners balcanici per la stesura della certificazione finale si svolgerà il 27 e 28 aprile a Pristina, nel Kosovo. Si tratta, più specificatamente, di una attività intesa a rafforzare la comprensione del processo di certificazione e dei requisiti dell’UEAV.

Gli esperti italiani del Dipartimento per la Protezione Civile Italiana, tra cui il Corpo Italiano di Soccorso dell’Ordine di Malta, interagiranno direttamente con l’organizzazione-partner balcanica interessata.

L’obiettivo è, quindi, quello di rafforzare la capacità dei partner di rimuovere le lacune esistenti, aggiornare e integrare la documentazione necessaria ed elaborare procedure adeguate per garantire la conformità ai requisiti di certificazione.

Un successivo incontro si svolgerà, poi, a maggio, sia in Albania che in Kosovo, con l’obiettivo ulteriore di finalizzare la preparazione dei partners per l’applicazione della certificazione.

WORKING GROUP FOR EUAV CERTIFICATION WITH EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY OF KOSOVO – Pristina April 27th to 28th

After the first two-day work meeting held in Albania from April 8th to 9th, the second meeting with Balkan partners for the final certification workshop, a project’s activity devised to strengthen the understanding of EUAV certification process and requirements in view of application submission, will take place on April 27th-28th in Pristina, Kosovo*, at the Afa Hotel.

Working groups are articulated in four informal two-day engagements and will consist of two rounds of work meetings, with each set of meeting tailored to the specific needs of the partner organization that plans to apply for certification.

Italian experts from the Italian Department of Civil Protection, ANPAS, CIMA, Italian Red Cross and CISOM will interact directly witheach Balkan partner organization interested in submitting their application to be certified as EU Aid Volunteers Hosting Organizations, in order to assist them in reviewing previous course material and offer any needed clarifications on the application procedures. The objective is to strengthen the partners’ ability to remove existing gaps, update or integrate necessary documentation and devise appropriate procedures to ensure compliance with certification requirements.

This second engagement, in April, is entirely dedicated to the Kosovar partner EMA (Emergency Management Agency),who has requested further assistance in preparing he application submission. EMA managers and key operatives will have the chance to discuss more in depth the various aspects of volunteer management covered during previous trainings and to perfect their understanding of certification requirements.

A second round of meetings will take place in May, both in Albania and in Kosovo, with the aim to finalize the partners’ preparation for certification application.
